Fibromyalgia And what it is.

Fibromyalgia is One of the oddest Diseases EVER!!  I think, anyway. When I was around 13, when I got JRA and Also Got something else, that made me want one no to hug or touch me. I would try not to hug anyone. But I didn't even realize I was doing this till my Mom Pointed it out. and I started thinking about it, and then at around 16 I started Noticing some little Balls coming out of my elbow. I didn't know what it was till, i looked it up and I saw it sometimes happens if you have JRA so I just thought, well, They said I could have JRA but I don't know, So I just let it go. Then when I was 17 they said It's fibromyalgia! :O Because they touched my Tender Points  I would start to cry and Scram I still do. So the Symptoms of Fibrmyalgia Are

chronic, widespread pain, fatigue, and heightened pain in response to pressure Tender Ponits. Other symptoms may include tingling of the skin, prolonged muscle spasms, weakness in the limbs, nerve pain And pain may also be localized in areas such as the shouldersneck, low backhips, or other areas. functional bowel disturbances, and chronic sleep disturbances And Many patients experience cognitive dysfunction (known as "brain fog" or "fibrofog"), which may be characterized by impaired concentration, problems with short and long-term memory, short-term memory consolidation, impaired speed of performance, inability to multi-task, cognitive overload,  and diminished attention span,

20-30% of patients with rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus may also have fibromyalgia, I'm one of those patients And of Course no one knows why we get it.

And Meds for it are

Anti-seizure drugs.

Antidepressants, Like

Fluoxetine (Prozac) in combination with amitriptyline is effective in some people. Duloxetine (Cymbalta) may help ease the pain and fatigue associated with fibromyalgia. And milnacipran (Savella) was recently approved by the Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of fibromyalgia symptoms. I Take

Analgesics. Acetaminophen (Tylenol, others) may ease the pain and stiffness caused by fibromyalgia. However, its effectiveness varies. Tramadol (Ultram) is a prescription pain reliever that may be taken with or without acetaminophen. Your doctor may recommend nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) — such as aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, others) or naproxen sodium (Aleve, others) — in conjunction with other medications. NSAIDs haven't proved to be as effective in managing the pain in fibromyalgia when taken by themselves. These don't help me.

Anti-seizure drugs. Medications designed to treat epilepsy are often useful in reducing certain types of pain. Gabapentin (Neurontin) is sometimes helpful in reducing fibromyalgia symptoms, while pregabalin (Lyrica) is the first drug approved by the Food and Drug Administration to treat fibromyalgia. These are WAY to strong for me.
Then You can try P

hysical therapy. Specific exercises can help restore muscle balance and may reduce pain. Stretching techniques and the application of hot or cold also may help. It helps But it takes about a Month. The pool works Better but everyone is different.

that's the Main about fibromyalgia for now :)

I hope it helps

God Bless
